Book review

Several years ago, LEGO conducted a Creativity Contest for teachers in the U.S. and the United Kingdom. The U.S. contest produced over 400 lesson ideas. The U.K. contest generated over 600 photo entries. The lessons cover a wide range of subjects from kindergarten through high school.

The book contains detailed instructions for purchasing the LEGO kit parts (20 bricks) from Lego or Bricklink. The kit as a whole has never sold by LEGO. The cost is about $5 U.S.

The author encourages teachers worldwide to add imaginative, hands-on activities to complement their lesson plans. Instructions are included to e-mail the author new lessons, which will be added to the collection.
